For UK waste-receiving sites

Inbound consignments, one inbox.

The free WTNcloud portal for waste-receiving sites is live ahead of the October 2026 DEFRA Digital Waste Tracking mandate. See every inbound WTN and HWCN in a single dashboard, sign Part E on screen, and have the DEFRA receipt submitted for you automatically.

No card details. No per-consignment charge. Cancel any time by deleting your account.

Why a separate portal

Receivers go first under DEFRA DWT

DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking service moved to public beta in January 2026. Phase 1 covers receipt of waste only — receiving sites are the first to integrate, with the obligation becoming mandatory in October 2026. Carriers follow a year later.

That means every recovery, treatment and disposal site in the UK will need somewhere to log incoming consignments and push them to DWT. We built this portal specifically for that — free, browser-only, designed around the receipt-of-waste data points DEFRA actually cares about.

Mandatory dates

  • Oct 26Receivers must submit receipts of waste to DEFRA DWT.
  • Oct 27Carriers must create movement records on DWT at collection time.

What you get

Built around the receiver, not the producer

Most waste software is designed for the carrier or broker — and bolts the receiver on as an afterthought. The Stations portal flips that: the inbox, the data fields, the audit trail are all designed around what you do at the gate.

One inbox for every consignment

Producers and carriers using WTNcloud already have your site in their address book. Once you claim your account, every WTN and HWCN addressed to you appears in a single place — no chasing inboxes, no PDFs in WhatsApp.

Sign Part E in two clicks

Confirm the date received, accepted quantity, and recovery / disposal code, then sign on screen. The producer's PDF auto-updates with your Part E receipt; everyone has the same document, instantly.

DEFRA Digital Waste Tracking — handled

Phase 1 of the DEFRA DWT service makes receiving sites the first to integrate (mandatory October 2026). Store your API code once and we'll submit the statutory receipt of waste on your behalf for every Part E you sign.

Free for receiving sites

No card details, no per-consignment charge. The portal is funded by WTNcloud's producer and carrier subscriptions — receivers get the value-add as part of the network.

How it works

Three steps, one afternoon

1

Register

Take 30 seconds to set up an account at stations.wtncloud.co.uk. Add your environmental permit number and site postcode and we'll auto-link any consignments already addressed to your site.

2

See your inbox

Inbound WTNs and HWCNs land in your dashboard the moment a producer addresses one to your site. Each consignment shows the producer, the waste, the carrier and Part E status at a glance.

3

Sign Part E

Open a consignment, confirm what you actually received, and sign on screen. The producer's PDF re-renders with your receipt details. Done.

Already a WTNcloud producer or carrier?

When the receiving site you address consignments to joins the portal, your dashboard automatically shows Part E status against every WTN and HWCN — no manual follow-ups for receipts. Toggle Part E on per-WTN from your existing dashboard at dash.wtncloud.co.uk.

  • Captured Part E renders straight onto your stored WTN PDF.
  • No double-charging — a WTN is billed once at transferor signing; Part E is bolt-on.
  • Receivers without a portal account still sign via the email link as before — nothing breaks for them.

Invite your receivers

When you add a Station to your address book with an email address, we'll (rate-limited, opt-in) email them an invite to claim their account. They can also self-register at stations.wtncloud.co.uk.
